Ranked Researchers returns a list of all scientists in the ResearchScorecard database ranked according to overall score, funding, publication productivity and other factors.

What is it for?

This tool is particularly useful for quickly comparing the productivity of biomedical researchers in a visual manner.

Caveat

These data are not comprehensive. They can exhibit biases due to limitations inherent in the original data sources. For example, for a given grantee the summary grant application data released by NIH lists only a single department affiliation, such that only this department gets credited with whatever data are associated with the grantee, even if the scientist is associated with multiple departments.
